I'm sorry but I love D. McNabb, but his management deserves to not even make the playoffs. After they traded for TO they actually thought he would be a productive team player year in & year out. And for the next team that gets this SOB I wish them the same curse. Baltimore had no clue the NFL Gods were looking out for them when Owens said I don't want to go there. Now they probably have a better chance of getting to the big dance this year than Philly does. :finger:

TO specifically did not want to go to the Ravens simply because the Ravens are a run first then run again then run one more time then pass type of team..

T.O is a play maker. You would have to cut out a bunch of runs to keep him happy or even make him useful to your team...Jamal Lewis would definately have non of that!!!!

Secondly, the Eagles should pay T.O his money....

Here is my challenge to the Eagles!!!!

LETS SEE YOU DARE KICK T.O OFF THE TEAM!!!!

Cut him right here right now and lets see if he doesnt get a new deal same day signed and delivered to him by midnight with all the trimmings that he wants!!!! Then lets just see if you can even make the play offs with out him!!!

Westbrook and Pinkston are two solid guys you can depend on afterall right!!!!

Redpimp,

Guys like you are the reason these athletes in all sports are prima donna's.
Yeah just pay him the money, pay him millions, who cares. How about these spoiled little babies start honoring the contracts they sign for multi million dollars, instead of crying they want a new contract everytime somebody gets more then them. These players today are joke and a disgrace and its guys like you who are out there paying their salaries. Nice job.
I sure would like to change my contract, everytime somebody in another company gets a raise.

You are allowed to. Will your company dismiss you and dishonor the same contract you both signed if you fail to meet projected out put? Will they dismiss you say you break you ankle while on the job?

I have always prided myself on being fair and being able to see both sides of the story...

First off quit trying to sell this whole bullshit story about how NFL athletes make too much money!!!! That is a bunch of baloney....

Do every one a favor and go take a pick on just one of the pockets of the owners of any team in the league...Even a crappy team like the Redskins will do... They havent even made a serious run or even pretended to and their value is just increasing even as you read this...(Last time i checked they were worth well over 600 million (and this number is seriously reduced because it was more than a year ago since i read the article..)

Do you know the obscene amounts of money the NFL will make when the Networks re new their current deals....Word is that contracts are going to be worth double the previous amount...

so FORGIVE ME IF I WONT SHADE A TEAR FOR THE FRIGGIN FILTHY RICH OWNERS....

These guys are making money hand over fist off some one else's sweat. And once the guy goes down, they cut him quicker than and infected syphillitic bitch!!!!

It the teams get to do that, then the player should be allowed to restructure his contract...

One more thing before i get off this topic...May be i am a naturally over hyped guy and i like my sports high octane, fast and jacked up 100%...Thats why i have zero interest in baseball..To friggin dull and boring as hell. Football, basketball, boxing, those are my favorite sports.. I like loud boisterous characters like Shockley, Owens, R. Lewis, its because of guys like this that i get up , just glad to find out where the Rany Moss Vs TO saga is going (i am sure 90% of the guys on this forum remember that game from last year)

Hey if you want your boring slow arse, constipated sports, dont worry, steroid ball is still on tv, just dont try to throw a blanket over my football!!!

You time is up, move over and let us have our fun old man!!!!:dancefool :dancefool

Redpimp,

First off am in no way defending the owners, your right they are making to much money and alot has to do with all the stupid fans who take their real hard earned paychecks and go pay the raising ticket prices and all the sports gear.
The whole industry is over payed, making millions of dollars for playing a game, what a joke that is and like i said i blame the fans for it. They want to be suckers and pay for it, God bless them. You got doctors and scientists trying to cure diseases and they wont see that kind of money in their lifetimes, thats when you know something is wrong with our whole society, but thats a whole other arguement.
My point is and your seeing it everywhere, these players sign contracts and then as soon as somebodt gets a bigger contract they want a new one. Stop being babies and honor what you signed on to play for, thats all am saying.
Has nothing to do with how much the owners are making. These guys get huge bonuses in their contracts for performance, so its to's own fault for signing the contract, he should have asked for more before he signed, thats the bottomline.
Their all just big spoiled babies, who dont know what its like to have to work for a living. I think i read somewhere where to said he cant afford to feed his family on his salary, what a friggin asshole.

Pimp - You're Kidding!

Cut him...he's not a team player; he's for Terrell. There are plenty of guys that can catch the ball. I'm a Directoe in a Corp...if your not for the team, you're gone. You wouldn't want to work for me.

P.S. - Folks are fighting to get in my dept. because we work well together and I put them first!!!!

Ever heard the saying that in life (and business especially) "one should be flexible like a reed, bend but dont break"

Here we have the Eagles organization had all summer long to figure out this festering TO problem. Of course they chose to be totally stupid about it and didnt even want to listen to what TO's agent had to say...(what a friggin dumd way to deal with any situation..) Ok so terrell signed a contract, its obvious he aint happy with it, so the Eagles think TO would be valuable to them all pisssed of and acting like a little kid? Really, think about it... The Eagles are worried sick about this situation yet if both parties swallowed their Egos, they could have sat down and worked out a deal that would definately have left both sides happy...

In life one has to figure out which battles are worth fighting and those that are not..If i am the Eagles GM, i would have sat down my franchise player a long time ago and worked this out like two men because you have to be a moron if you are under any illusion about what he brings to the table..

LIKE IT OR NOT, ONLY A FOOL WOULD HANDLE THIS SITUATION LIKE THE EAGLES TEAM DID....

Ps... If you understand any thing about NFL contracts, any one will tell you that TO is not even going to be paid the money due to him at the end of his contract. If the guy has done all this stuff for you, simply cut off the years on his contract every one in the world knows wont be worth shit, Shorten the damn thing and slap on afew incentive tags and pay the fool his money...
In some cases, you have to admit and submit when a guy has his hands squarely around your balls and he is about to yank them off!!!!

Well Eagles President stated either TO will play under current contract or he will not play football this season.

McNabb has to feel so sick after fighting to get the guy there in the offseason last year & then having the guy talk about him after the SuperBowl. Now he is not going to have any legit receiver to toss to this season. I actually believe the Eagles will have a tough time winning their division this year.
